Welcome! As you can see, this is not a usual post, but rather an announcement that I’m putting Emerging Markets explorer on hold for a while.

I’m embarked in an exciting professional journey that is taking a lot of my passion and energy, and that is why I decided to press pause. I’ll resume it later on, will let you know.

Lillian Li’s Chinese Characteristics. A favourite of mine since day 1, never ceases to amaze me. It also has a paid version that is 100% worth it.

Rest of World. This was a hidden gem I cannot get enough from. They cover the most unusual stories with great quality, of those regions that are not usually covered.

Samora Kariuki’s Frontier Fintech. Samora’s constant learnings about the fintech space in Africa are a must.

Podcasts:

Afrobility: Africa Tech & Business. There are podcasts that one can listen at x2; the Afrobility podcast you must listen to at x0,5. Packed with insight.

RareBirds. JoAnn records it and includes a myriad of stories in Emerging Markets. It helps you get perspective of what business in there looks like, and covering many angles of blockchain.

13% Pasión por el trabajo. Recorded in Colombia, tells the stories of that special minority who is actually passionate about their jobs.
